How to get to the campus of Saarland University
By car
Visitor parking is available in two parking garages just outside the university campus, for 3 Euros per day.
By public transport
There are bus connections from the city centre (where the hotels are located) to the university campus. The closest bus stop to the Aula is called “Universität Campus”. There are several bus lines (101 ,102, 109, 111, 112, 124, 150) to the campus from there, departing about every 10 to 15 minutes and taking about 15 to 20 minutes.
Lines 102, 112 and 124 depart from bus stop Hauptbahnhof (Main train station). Use platform D (the one furthest from the train station building).
Lines 101, 102, 109, 111 and 150 depart from bus stop Rathaus (city hall).

Please note that tickets on the bus can only be paid cash. In the app (Saarfahrplan) you can pay electronically. If you want to use the app for buying tickets, you will have to register for the service via e-mail.
How to get back to the city from the campus of Saarland University
There are several bus stations on the campus. The closest one to the Aula is the station “Universität Campus”. From there, one can take one of the many busses connecting to the city.
